Description

Originating from Liangzizhai Village, a high-altitude small village in Mengku Town, Shuangjiang County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. Here, with its unique geographical environment and high-quality tea tree resources, high-quality Pu’er tea has been nurtured. This place is far away from the hustle and bustle, with a unique natural environment. The ancient tea gardens in Liangzizhai are the best preserved in Mengku and even Shuangjiang. The tea gardens cover a large area, and almost every household has ancient tea trees in front of and behind their houses. Most of these ancient tea trees are around 200 years old.

Place of Origin

Liangzizhai Village, hidden in the high mountains and clouds northeast of Mengku Town, Shuangjiang County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, is a village with a long tea culture and magnificent natural scenery. The altitude here is as high as 2000 meters, surrounded by primitive forests, with a humid climate and misty clouds, providing unique conditions for the growth of ancient tea trees. Liangzizhai is famous for its well preserved ancient tea gardens and high-quality Mengku large leaf tea trees. The Pu’er tea produced has a unique aroma and a rich taste, which is highly praised by tea enthusiasts. Here, tea is not only a beverage, but also a cultural symbol passed down from generation to generation, carrying the hard work and wisdom of tea farmers, as well as their longing for a better life.

  • Altitude: The altitude of Liangzizhai is about 2000 meters. This height makes the village shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, with a humid climate, providing superior natural conditions for the growth of tea trees. The temperature in high-altitude areas is relatively low, with a large temperature difference between day and night, which is beneficial for tea trees to accumulate more nutrients and flavor compounds.
  • Temperature: The annual average temperature in Liangzizhai is about 22 ℃. This temperature range is very suitable for the growth of tea trees.
  • Soil: The soil in Liangzizhai is fertile and rich in organic matter and minerals. This soil condition is conducive to the root development and nutrient absorption of tea trees, providing sufficient nutrients for their growth. At the same time, minerals in the soil can also give tea a unique flavor and aroma.
