The production area of Pu’er tea in Shuangjiang County is located in Shuangjiang Lahu, Wa, Bulang, Dai Autonomous County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. With its unique geographical environment and climate conditions, this area has nurtured high-quality Pu’er tea.Shuangjiang Pu’er tea is famous for its unique aroma, taste, and soup color. - Altitude: The terrain of Shuangjiang County is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with a valley area in the middle. The highest altitude in the county can reach 3233 meters, the lowest altitude is 670 meters, and the county seat has an altitude of about 1050 meters. The significant differences in elevation and topography make the climate and ecological environment of Shuangjiang County diverse, which is conducive to the growth of different types of tea trees.
- Temperature: Shuangjiang County belongs to the South Asian tropical monsoon climate zone, with a warm and humid climate and abundant rainfall. The average temperature is between 18-25 ℃.
- Soil: The soil types in Shuangjiang County are diverse, including red soil, yellow soil, purple soil, etc. The soil organic matter and hydrolytic nitrogen content in Shuangjiang County are moderate, while the available phosphorus and potassium content are high. The exchangeable magnesium and available zinc content in the soil are widely distributed, while the available boron content is moderate to low. The water-soluble chloride ion content is very low. Brewing Method
- Warm cup: Preheat tea utensils with boiling water to remove odors, increase temperature, and promote the release of tea aroma.
- Tea washing: Take an appropriate amount of tea according to personal taste and tea set size. It is generally recommended that the ratio of tea to water be 1:20 to 1:25. Quickly wash the tea leaves with a small amount of hot water and pour out the washed tea.
- Tea brewing: Add water at around 85-95 ℃ and let it stand for about 6 seconds. (Pu erh tea can be brewed about 15 times. It is recommended to brew for 6 seconds from the first to the fifth time, 10 seconds from the sixth to the eighth time, and 15 seconds from the ninth to the fifteenth time.)
- Water temperature control: Brew at an appropriate water temperature. The water temperature for raw tea is generally controlled at around 85 ℃, while the water temperature for ripe tea can be slightly higher at around 95 ℃.
