The name “Myth” originates from an ancient legend passed down in Mengku Ancient Town and from the totem worship of the ancient Hani people. They regard tea trees as sacred objects, believing that they can ward off evil and provide refuge, bringing good luck and prosperity. Taking inspiration from this, we carefully select Mengku ancient tree tea and, with a sense of awe, inherit ancient methods and integrate traditional tea making techniques to create this precious tea. Every piece of tea is a tribute to ancient legends and a cherished gift from nature.

Place of Origin

Mengku Town is located in the northern part of Shuangjiang Autonomous County, between 99 ° 46’21 ″ E and 99 ° 58’27 ″ E longitude, and 23 ° 33 ′ N and 23 ° 49 ′ N. The Mengku area has a beautiful ecological environment, no pollution, fertile soil, and abundant rainfall, providing unique conditions for the growth of tea. The climate here belongs to the tropical rainforest climate zone, which is conducive to the growth of tea trees and the improvement of tea quality.The terrain in Mengku area is complex and diverse, with significant differences in altitude, forming a unique three-dimensional climate. This environment is conducive to the accumulation of rich internal substances in tea trees, giving them unique quality characteristics.Mengku Town pays attention to ecological environment protection, with forests surrounding tea gardens, fresh air, and pure water quality, providing a pollution-free natural environment for the growth of tea.

• Altitude: Mengku Town has a terrain that is high in the north and low in the south, with intersecting river valleys and undulating mountains, resulting in significant differences in elevation within the area. Among them, the highest peak is Daxueshan, with an altitude of 3233 meters; The lowest point is located at the confluence of Mengku River and Huilei River in Dahewan, with an altitude of only 1040 meters. This significant altitude difference has created a unique three-dimensional climate in Mengku Town, which is conducive to the growth and quality improvement of tea trees.
• Temperature: The annual average temperature in Mengku Town is about 18 ℃, which is conducive to the growth and development of tea trees, giving them a unique taste and aroma.
• Soil: The soil in Mengku Town is rich in organic matter and minerals, providing sufficient nutrients for the growth of tea trees. At the same time, microbial activity in the soil is also relatively active, which helps promote the growth and development of tea trees.

Brewing Method

• Warm cup: Preheat tea utensils with boiling water to remove odors, increase temperature, and promote the release of tea aroma.
• Tea washing: Take an appropriate amount of tea according to personal taste and tea set size. It is generally recommended that the ratio of tea to water be 1:20 to 1:25. Quickly wash the tea leaves with a small amount of hot water and pour out the washed tea.
• Tea brewing: Add water at around 85-95 ℃ and let it stand for about 6 seconds. （Pu erh tea can be brewed about 15 times. It is recommended to brew for 6 seconds from the first to the fifth time, 10 seconds from the sixth to the eighth time, and 15 seconds from the ninth to the fifteenth time.）
• Water temperature control: Brew at an appropriate water temperature. The water temperature for raw tea is generally controlled at around 85 ℃, while the water temperature for ripe tea can be slightly higher at around 95 ℃.
