Place of Origin

The production area of Xiaohuangtian Pu-erh tea is mainly located in Mengku Town, Shuangjiang Lahu, Va, Blang, Dai Autonomous County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. Specifically, it is in Xiaohuangtian Village, a very primitive village located in the eastern half of Mengku, on the back mountain of Nuowu and Bawai in the five villages of Bingdao. This place is located in a mountainous area with a high altitude, and has a unique natural ecological environment. The climate is suitable for the growth of tea trees, with abundant rainfall and fertile soil, providing superior conditions for the growth of Pu-erh tea.

Xiaohuangtian Pu-erh tea is known for its golden color, clear and transparent aroma, and high fragrance. Its rich taste and unique aroma are highly favored by tea lovers. The ancient tea trees here have gone through many vicissitudes and are relatively old. They can absorb rich minerals from the soil and accumulate a special flavor. Moreover, the tea planting history in Xiaohuangtian tea area is long, and tea farmers have passed it down from generation to generation, allowing Xiaohuangtian Pu’er tea to continue its excellent quality.

  • Altitude: Xiaohuangtian is a mountainous area with a relatively high altitude, ranging from approximately 1800 meters to 1900 meters above sea level. This high-altitude environment provides unique natural conditions for the growth of Pu’er tea. The climate in high-altitude areas is relatively cool, with a large temperature difference between day and night, which is conducive to the accumulation of nutrients and the formation of aroma in tea. Meanwhile, the moderate air humidity in high-altitude areas provides a favorable growth environment for tea trees.
  • Temperature:The area where Xiaohuangtian is located belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate zone, with a humid and warm climate and distinct four seasons. The annual average temperature is above 15 ℃, which is very suitable for the growth of tea trees. There is no severe cold in winter and no scorching heat in summer, which allows tea trees to maintain a stable growth state and is beneficial for improving tea quality.
  • Soil: The soil in small wasteland areas is fertile, rich in organic matter and minerals. This soil condition provides sufficient nutrients for the growth of tea trees, allowing them to fully absorb nutrients from the soil during the growth process, forming a unique taste and aroma.
