This superior growth environment makes Xiaomeng’e Pu’er tea unique in quality and has distinct regional characteristics.Xiaomeng’e Pu’er tea mainly uses ancient tree leaves with decades or even hundreds of years of age as raw materials. These ancient tea trees have well-developed root systems, thick stems and leaves, and can absorb a large amount of nutrients, giving the tea a richer aroma and taste.

  • Altitude: Xiaomenge area is located in a high-altitude mountainous area, with an altitude range of approximately 1500 to 2000 meters. This high-altitude environment has a large temperature difference between day and night, which is beneficial for tea trees to accumulate more nutrients and flavor substances, thereby endowing tea with a richer and more lasting aroma and taste.
  • Temperature: The climate in Xiaomeng’e area is warm and humid, with distinct four seasons, providing suitable temperature conditions for the growth of tea trees. Specifically, the growth temperature range of tea trees is generally between 10 ℃ and 30 ℃. Within this range, tea trees can grow normally and effectively absorb nutrients, which is beneficial for the accumulation of nutrients and the improvement of tea quality. In addition, in winter, tea trees need to go through a dormant period, during which the temperature is relatively low (usually between 0 ℃ and 10 ℃), which helps tea trees accumulate nutrients and restore growth, improving the medicinal components and taste of tea leaves.
  • Soil: The soil in Xiaomeng’e area is fertile and rich in organic matter, which provides sufficient nutrients for the growth of tea trees. The mineral content in the soil is high, and the soil is acidic. This soil characteristic is conducive to the absorption of nutrients by tea trees and gives them a unique mountain flavor.
